USFans Product Links Guide: Using Weidian, Taobao and 1688 URLs

How to clean, verify and document marketplace product links before using them with USFans.

Evidence and scope

USFans publicly identifies Taobao, 1688 and Weidian as supported shopping sources. This guide explains link verification and listing evidence; it does not guarantee that every seller, item, route or option will be available.

01

Recognise a usable product link

A usable USFans product link should lead to a specific marketplace item, not a home page, search result, shop category or short-lived share screen. Open the URL in a normal browser and note the final destination after redirects. Confirm that a product title, images, option controls and seller identity are visible. If the link needs an app to reveal essential details, capture those details before treating the URL as verified.

Remove tracking fragments only when doing so does not break the destination. Keep the marketplace item identifier and any parameter required to open the actual listing. Never replace an inaccessible link with a visually similar product without documenting the change. Similar pictures can hide a different seller, batch, material or option structure.

02

Read Weidian links as seller listings

For a Weidian listing, record the shop name, item identifier, title, price range and option text that applies to the intended product. Inspect all available photographs rather than assuming the cover represents every variant. If the page includes several batches or versions, write down the chosen one exactly. A spreadsheet label such as ‘black hoodie’ is not enough when the seller distinguishes fabric weight, print method or season.

Check domestic delivery and after-sales wording where visible. These are seller-side conditions, not guarantees from a discovery site. When the destination changes to a store front or removed item, mark the link as unavailable. A clean broken-link status is more useful than keeping an old row alive for its search traffic.

03

Check Taobao options and quantity

Taobao pages can present colour, size, package and promotional options in a dense interface. Confirm that the displayed price belongs to the selected combination. Look for minimum quantity, deposit wording, pre-sale status or an option that includes only an accessory. Save the exact selection and a screenshot showing both text and image, especially when translated labels are vague.

Do not infer stock from the presence of an old photograph. A listing may stay visible while an option is unavailable. If size evidence is only in an image, preserve that image with the date. This creates a reliable reference for later warehouse-photo comparison and for any seller-side question.

04

Interpret 1688 wholesale listings carefully

1688 is commonly associated with supplier and wholesale listings, so quantity tiers and variant pricing deserve extra attention. Determine whether the shown price assumes a minimum order, a sample, a mixed batch or a specific quantity. Check whether one listing combines unrelated items. A low unit figure without the applicable quantity is not a meaningful comparison.

Record material or specification statements as supplier claims unless independently confirmed. When comparing two 1688 links, align quantity, version and domestic delivery before deciding which is cheaper. Otherwise the spreadsheet may compare a single unit from one seller with a multi-unit tier from another.

05

Match the link to the discovery card

Compare at least three identity signals: product family or silhouette, colour or pattern, and a category-specific detail. For shoes that could be the sole and panel layout; for hoodies the front graphic, zipper and cuffs; for bags the strap, hardware and closure. If only one signal matches, the card should not claim a verified destination.

Names are also evidence. A vague or translated title may still be usable when option text and images agree, but a title describing a different category is a warning. Update the discovery card when the seller page changes. The card should help the next shopper understand the current listing, not preserve yesterday's wording.

06

Document the exact option

Create a short purchase record containing final URL, marketplace, seller, date checked, selected colour, size, version, quantity and domestic delivery. Add one note for any unresolved claim. This record is far more valuable than a bare link because it explains what was verified and what the buyer still needs to judge.

Before payment, reopen the live page from the saved URL and repeat the option check. Do not rely on a browser tab left open for days. Marketplace listings can be edited, and prices or availability can change. The last check should happen as close to purchase as practical.

07

Know when not to use a link

Reject a link when it resolves to an unrelated product, hides whether the price is a deposit, has no understandable quantity, or offers no usable size evidence for a fit-critical purchase. Also reject a link when important option photos contradict one another and the seller gives no way to distinguish versions. Warehouse QC should not be used as an excuse to order a listing whose basic identity is unknown.

Temporary loading problems are different from evidence problems. Retry later or through the marketplace's normal page, but do not invent missing data. Mark the status and move to another candidate. A product-links guide earns trust by helping people stop, not only by encouraging more clicks.

08

Handle translated titles and option text

Automatic translation can make a usable marketplace page easier to scan, but it can also collapse meaningful distinctions. Words for deposit, balance payment, sample, replacement part or batch may become vague. Keep the original option text beside the translation when payment type or product identity depends on it. Compare the option image and price rather than trusting one translated noun.

When a title is unclear, break it into observable fields: garment type, colour, version, size and included pieces. If those fields still conflict, do not create a confident English product name. A careful literal label with an uncertainty note is safer than a polished name that describes the wrong option.

09

Maintain links after publication

High-click links deserve scheduled rechecks because seller pages can change after publication. Confirm the final destination, option structure and category, and update the checked date. Remove tracking parameters that are unnecessary, but preserve identifiers that make the item resolve. Never reuse an old verification date for a replacement URL.

Use search analytics to find rows that receive impressions but no clicks, then inspect whether their title explains the actual product. Use click analytics to find popular rows and verify them more often. Maintenance should improve accuracy first; changing a title only to attract clicks while the destination remains ambiguous damages the index.

10

Turn links into an auditable workflow

A strong workflow is simple: discover, resolve, identify, select, document, recheck and then purchase. After the item reaches the warehouse, use the saved listing and option record to evaluate the real photos. If a visible mismatch appears, the record shows what was ordered and why the difference matters.

This approach keeps USFans product links useful even as marketplaces change. The destination remains the live source, the spreadsheet remains a navigation tool, and the buyer keeps the evidence. That separation prevents stale links, promotional claims and ambiguous variants from becoming false certainty.

11

Keep the source identity separate from the destination

A marketplace item identifier and an internal collection-page identifier may look similar but belong to different systems. Replacing only the domain in a product URL does not prove that the new destination contains the same item. Compare the title, images and selected options after following the final link, especially when a collection has moved to a different site.

Save both the original seller link and the collection link used to discover it. If the collection destination changes, the marketplace reference can help identify the intended candidate. Do not substitute a search page or a visually similar product while describing the link as an exact match. Mark the uncertainty and verify the replacement as a new listing.

Before paying, reopen the selected option in the actual purchasing flow and compare it with your saved record. A correct link is only the beginning: size, colour, quantity, version and price still need confirmation. Keep these details together so an agent or seller can understand the precise product requested if a correction becomes necessary.
